Lisa & Seth, where do I even begin with you two? Gosh, we have so loved our time working with you both and will miss you tons! I guess like any good story, we should start at the beginning! When we sat down with Lisa & Seth over a year ago to hear about their big day, I was just so honored! Lisa’s family and mine practically grew up together, we went to the same schools & lived in the same neighborhood. We even both have an older sister named Amy!! My brother, Patrick, even taught Lisa’s sister how to ride a bike! As the years went on and we all grew up, we saw each other less and less over time. Then a year ago I opened my email to find an inquiry from Lisa, and my face lit up! What an honor it was for the possibility of this incredible family to come back into my life, to work with Lisa during the greatest season of her life, her engagement and journey to marriage! It has been just that, an immense honor for my husband and I to work with such an incredibly sweet and amazing couple, Lisa & Seth! There are no words to describe the feeling, and the honor, it is to work with old friends, and friends that feel like family. It is an immeasurable gift to us when we are able to serve those we love on the greatest day of their life, their wedding day! Our time with Lisa & Seth has been such fun, and we will miss both so much! Thank you for entrusting us with the greatest day of your lives, we promise it was an honor that we didn’t take lightly, and it was such a gift to us both!
Like most wedding days, the unexpected will always occur! For Seth & Lisa, the unexpected came in the form of Rain, and lots of it! However, not even the rain could keep the smile of our brides face the entire day! These two were a dream to work with, and I think Lisa could teach a class for brides on how to remain calm no matter what happens on a wedding day! Seriously! Lisa & her bridesmaids were all calm, relaxed, and excited all morning as they got ready for the big day! Basically, a photographers dream!! Lisa looked absolutely beautiful, seriously the most stunning bride, and her sweet sisters and bridesmaids made sure that she knew it! As we went into the ceremony, I noticed how often these two lovingly gazed at each other. It is seriously the sweetest thing, I love it! Frequently I would look over to these two, and one of them would be lovingly looking at the other, true joy and love right there! Just soaking in the memories of their big day together, the best day of their lives!
We may have been dodging rain throughout the day, but nothing could stop the party from happening that evening! The House of Blues set the perfect tone for the reception, party time! Our bride and groom brought the house down dancing on the dance floor, which was packed the whole night! It was so evident to us how much love and support Seth & Lisa have surrounding them, they are loved by so many! Despite the rain and stormy weather, nothing could stop these two from having the most perfect day together! It was such an honor for me to have this sweet family com back into my life, and for Daniel & I to work with Lisa & Seth! I hope as you scroll through this blog you enjoy this wedding as much as we did!
Congratulations again to the new Mr. & Mrs. Cardinale!
